The Faces Of Survival 2010 Relay For Life festivities kicked off Friday evening at 7 pm and will continue through 7 am Saturday morning. Opening cermonies included recgonizing survivors and remembering those who have lost the battle to cancer.
Teamwork Results In Great Relay Fundraiser The Cushing Regional Hospital Relay for Life team and the Cushing
Masonic Lodge have teamed up once again. The Masonic Lodge has been
generous enough to provide matching funds for several years to the CRH
Relay team on one of their fundraisers. This year they teamed up to do
a BBQ Fundraiser.
Praying for the Miraculous Karen Baker smiled to herself as she read the words her fortune cookie held: "You will soon witness a miracle."
The slip of paper may have been small, but its message spoke volumes.
Poles Dancing With Purple Light poles up and down Main Street in Cushing were dancing with the
color purple Friday as volunteers wrapped them in ribbon as a
reminder of Relay for Life, May 7th.
Miracle Ribbon Relay for Life supporters came out to form a "miracle" ribbon of purple
Friday evening at the Cushing High School track. Most participants
were sporting their "Pray for a Miracle" t-shirts purchased as part of
Baker Pharmacy's Relay for Life team fundraiser.
