(Cushing, Okla.) "There are exciting things happening in Cushing. A group of women from all backgrounds and religious affiliations are coming together to form a women's ministry for Cushing."
A new woman's ministry, W.H.I.S.P.E.R. (Women Helping Inspire Sisters Providing Encouragement & Restoration), will host their first conference Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 from 9 a.m. until noon at the First Baptist Church, 418 E. Moses, in Cushing. There will be a breakfast, guest speaker and worship leader. Women are invited to "Come as you Are" dressed in your favorite t-shirt and jeans.
Tickets are just $10 and can be purchased from First Baptist Church (Call 918-225-4790) or Kelly Bugg.
Childcare will be provided for those who need it.
The prayer for this special ministry is to help women who are hurting and yearning to know more about God and to touch lives in the community.
All women are invited to attend.
