Drumright Woman Admits Shooting Bail Bonds Client In Back, Officer Alleges

A Drumright woman, who remains jailed without bail on a first-degree murder charge, admitted to a Stillwater police officer on the day after her arrest that she remembered shooting her gun towards a client “and when she looked up, she realized she had shot him in the back as he was exiting the window of the office,” according to allegations in an affidavit filed today.

Repeat Drug Offender Charged With Having Meth & Cocaine In Jail

An ex-convict from Stillwater with a long history of drug convictions, who got out of prison about two years ago, has been charged with possessing methamphetamine and cocaine on Aug. 6 in the Payne County Jail — where he was being held on $10,000 bail on earlier charges of possessing marijuana and cocaine on July 27.

Perkins Man Due In Court On Felony Marijuana Charge

A Perkins man has been ordered to appear in Payne County District Court with an attorney on Oct. 3 on a felony charge of possession of marijuana as a subsequent offense, as a result of a search warrant being served at his residence in the 300 block of N.E. 4th Street.

A Drumright woman accused of fatally shooting a client in the back on Wednesday shortly before noon at Signature Bail Bonds on W. 7th Street in Stillwater, a half-block from the Payne County Courthouse, was ordered jailed without bail at her arraignment this afternoon on a first-degree murder charge, court records show.
