Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services Hosts Ice Cream Social and Dessert Auction
CUSHING, Okla. (July 21, 2017) –Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services hosted an ice cream social and dessert auction at the Fechner Event Center on July 20.
Cushing residents were invited to attend, enjoy free ice cream, learn more about the Wings of Hope mission and bid on homemade desserts.
Doors opened at 7 p.m. and music was supplied by the band, Inspired, from Stillwater, Okla. Homemade desserts were supplied by Lee Denney, Loleta Clark and Pam Hawthorn of the Hypatia Club, Carrie Wilhelm, Vendana’s Kitchen, The Copper Penny, Carole Kliesen, Backroom Café, Hannah’s Heavenly Honey and Betty Dilley.
Auctioneer, Charlie Kaupke, moderated the sale of the baked goods, which included a variety of sweets.
