Warren Dillard Coughran

Warren Dillard Coughran was born on October 18, 1933 to Virgil and Buelah (Rose) Coughran in Checotah, Oklahoma. Warren passed from this life August 31, 2017 at his home in Yale, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma, Service will be held on September 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Cushing, Oklahoma.

Warren moved to California when he was 3 years old and grew up in California, attending school in the Arvin area. He met Rhoda Brannan in Arvin, California and married her on August 8, 1952. They were married for 65 years.

Warren worked at the Purdy Company in Mojave, California for 33 years; he attended Mojave Assembly of God for 35 years and in 1991 helped start a sister church, New Life Assembly of God in California City, California where he attended for 9 years. Warren moved to Oklahoma and faithfully attended First Assembly of God in Cushing, Oklahoma until he became ill.

Warren enjoyed working on cars and working in his yard, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Warren is survived by his wife Rhoda Coughran of the home, three daughters: Reva Christopherson and husband Rick, Linda Getzlaff, and Rita Bird and husband Roger, two sisters: Wynona Morgan and husband Bob, and Mary Armstrong, nine grandchildren: Michael Landers, Patricia Mojica, Brandy Frazier, Lisa Cardenas and husband Billy, Ronald Crowe and wife Jessica, Carrie Cain and husband Stephen, Katherine Buckley, Justin Bird and Marcus Bird, 13 great grandchildren: Heather Church, Lynda Donaldson and husband Cody, Andrew, Bailee, and Cameryn Crowe, Tristin, Arianna, Mia, and Emma Cardenas, Victor and Nathan Mojica, Arihanna Buckley, and Austin Brown, one great-great grandchild: Sirius Willis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, step mother: Bessie Coughran, one brother: Leonard Coughran, and one grandson: Warren Crowe.

Luncheon will be served for friends and family at the Council Valley Advent Christian Church following the Graveside service. 20208 E. 44th Yale, Ok.
