Beverly Pickle

Beverly Anne Pickle, longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 75 years. Beverly’s three children were by her side when she walked home.

The daughter of the late William Mansel Sanders and Mary Lee Trotter Sanders, Beverly was born on September 30, 1941 in Guthrie. She was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School.

Beverly was united in marriage to Glenn Pickle and to this union three children, Tim, Jeff and Kristye, were born.

Beverly was a member of the Big Creek Church of the Brethren; she was an active member of the MS Society and she took pride in advocating for others that weren’t able to speak up for themselves. She enjoyed reading, painting pictures, flowers, bird watching, reading and Braums peppermint ice cream.

Survivors include her children, Tim Pickle and wife, Diane, of Arlington, Jeff Pickle and wife, Kristin, of Ardmore and Kristye Clayton of Cushing; grandchildren, Zach Pickle, Taylor Hadley, Brennon, Trissity and Kade Pickle, Brittni Britton and Kellye Clayton; great-grandchildren, Konnor, Kaydin, Hunter, Camden and Addlye; one brother, Fred Sanders and wife, Gloria, of Topeka; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Mills and one brother, Billy Sanders.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Big Creek Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Holderread officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

The family will greet friends on Friday evening from 4 -6 in the Floyd Family Center.
