Margaret “Peggy” Marie (Hardnack) Foster (68), a longtime Perkins resident, passed away peacefully at Grace Living Center on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at Cimarron Worship Center in Perkins, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Interment followed at the Perkins cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Peggy was born on July 3, 1949 in Vineland, New Jersey to John and Margaret (Champion) Hardnack. She graduated from Perkins High School in 1967.  She married Curtis Owens of Perkins, Oklahoma in 1965.  They had three children: Lisa Owens, Travis Owens, and Matthew Owens. She later married Clyde Foster and lived in Perkins and then Carney. Later in life she moved to Stillwater. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved her grand children and great grandchildren. Peggy was sweet and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Lisa Sweeney of Stillwater, son Travis Owens of Stillwater, son Matthew Owens and wife Crystal Owens of Stillwater, grandchildren Erica Nelson, Heather Nelson, Anthony Shelton, Hayden Owens, Piper Owens, great grandchildren Paige Detwiler, and Blayden Nelson. She is also survived by brother James Hardnack and wife Brenda of Ripley, brother John Hardnack and wife Mona Hardnack of Florida, sister Patty and husband Arlen Hagen of South Dakota, sister Laura Golob and husband Rick Golob of Louisiana, brother Tom Hardnack and wife Wendy Hardnack of Guthrie, brother Allen Hardnack of Guthrie, and mother Margaret Frances Hardnack of Guthrie.
