Byron Wayne Pittser, age 49 longtime resident and business owner of Cushing Oklahoma passed away on Friday November 17th, 2017.

Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday November 21st, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, Cushing, Interment at the Parkland Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
Byron was born on January 29th 1968 in Lawton Oklahoma to Velma & Eric Pittser.
He married his high school sweetheart Susan Myers on August 14th, 1987 in Cushing to this union seven children were born, they recently celebrated their 30 year anniversary together.

Byron adored his family and they meant the world to him, he was blessed with so many friends, if you knew Byron he was a true friend and one of the best guys you could ever know.

Byron along with his wife Susan and his Mother and Father in Law Bob & Melba Myers, established Heritage Florist in Cushing November 1, 1988. He ran the Cimarron Valley Archery Range in Cushing for several years and was well known in the archery community.
Byron enjoyed time spent with his family, hunting, fishing, photography, working on hot rods, reading the Bible and simply enjoyed the beauty of nature in this world and helping others along with a vast multitude of other interests. He was a wealth of knowledge on so many things.

He was known well for his amazing sense of humor and always having a smile and wanting to make others smile and would always be there to lend a listening ear. He took great pride in serving others.

His love, laughter, smile and warm hearted nature will be missed by all those who knew him.

Byron is survived by his wife Susan of the home, Children, Kyle & Brandy Pittser of Cushing, Ashleigh Pittser of Cushing, Brittany Pittser of Overland Park, KS., Kendall & Tianna Pittser of Grand Junction, CO, Dylan, Brianna and Chelsea Pittser of the home and granddaughter Gabriella Pittser. Brothers & Sisters Scott & Mindy Pittser, Matt & Tasha Pittser, Aaron & Cynthia Pittser, Tiffany Pittser, Sara Pittser, Crystal Hayter and Suzan Robertson, mother in law Melba Myers, brothers and sisters in law Jason and Melissa Johnson, Bobby and Chera Myers, Alecia and Chad Hale, Jacob Myers.

And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loved ones and cherished friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Jim & Velma Hayter, Eric Pittser, Hank & Lee Hendrickson and Floyd & Rosie Pittser, and Father in Law Bob Myers.
