Linda Kaye Winterbottom, a longtime Yale resident, passed from this life on December 2, 2017 at her home in Yale at the age of 75. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday December 7, 2017 at the Yale Assembly of God. Rev. George Brock will officiate. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing, OK.

Linda was born on June 6, 1942 in Pocatello, Idaho to the late Lester and Evelyn (Hunt) Gustafson. She grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, moving to Yale in 1979. Linda married the love of her life Thomas Winterbottom on April 22, 1958 in American Falls, Idaho. Linda traveled with her husband while he was serving in the Navy. Together they raised their children all over the United States. They moved to Sapulpa, OK and then later, in 1979, moved to Yale. She was the family fixer and problem solver. Linda enjoyed gatherings with family and especially her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her companion Michael Richard Buckles of Yale, sons Thomas Winterbottom and wife Mary of Drumright, Terry Winterbottom and wife Lisa of Dayton, TX., Steven Winterbottom and wife Toni of Yale, Buck Winterbottom and wife Teri of Drumright, daughter Teresa Morphew and husband Larry of Yale, 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, siblings Betty French, Jerry Gustafson, Bobby Gustafson, Lori Gustafson, Joe Gustafson, Debbie Shill, and Terry Gustafson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Evelyn Gustafson, husband Thomas Winterbottom, son Michael Winterbottom, and sister Sharon Retherford.
