Chamber Charlie – the Cushing Chambers Elf on the Shelf is out for the second year and running away to a Chamber members business! You have to find him, and take a selfie with him, then private message their Facebook page or stop by the Chamber office at 1301 E. Main St. to show your pic to Chamber Staff! You’ll then be entered into a gift basket drawing which will be held at that Chamber Members business (the one he is hiding out at). That drawing is on Fridays every week until the week of Christmas, so stay tuned to the Cushing Chambers Facebook page for daily clues as to Charlies where bouts. Copper Penny – will be having an open house on December 7th from 5:30 pm until 8 pm. Santa food, carriage rides and more.

 

Dinner Church – where they recreate the worship experience of the first generation of Christians by sharing a meal together and have a normal, down-to-earth, non-judgmental conversation about the things Jesus said and did. This event starts at 6:30 pm on December 7th at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 300 E Moses Street, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Tour Historic Homes – Saturday, December 9th (2017) from 10 am until 4 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, 12 and under are free.  You can purchase your ticket at the Oklahoma Frontier Drugstore Museum at 214 W. Oklahoma Avenue, Guthrie.

 

 

Mannford, Oklahoma

 

 

Have Breakfast with Santa – and craft bazaar, on Saturday, December 9th from 7 am until noon. Event takes place at the Mannford High School Commons area. Breakfast is $4 for kids 12 and under, $6 for adults (the first 38 kids eat free).

 

Christmas Parade – scheduled for 4 pm. Theme an “Old Time Country Christmas”.

Creek Nation School Clothing Program – is going on now until December 29th (2017). A School Clothing grant is an allowance of $200 per student, per year. This amount is NOT tax exempt and the Application can be emailed, faxed, mailed in or dropped off in the office. Applicant must keep copies of receipts for their records.
