Thomas “Tom” W. Baker, a longtime Drumright resident, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at his home at the age of 91. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday December 30, 2017 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, OK. Chaplain Roy Bingham will officiate. Interment will follow at Maramec Cemetery, Maramec, OK.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Tom was born on November 29, 1926 in Mannford, Oklahoma to the late Harvey Lee and Millie Blanche (Haile) Baker. He grew up in the Silver City area and attended school in Mannford and Buckeye. Tom met the loved of his life, Anna Mae Cramer in 1947 in the Drumright area. They were married for numerous years. They lived in Maramec most of their life. Tom worked for the Pawnee County and enjoyed running a grader. He was a County Commissioner for Pawnee County for several years. Tom also enjoy farming. He was always happy and smiling, kind to everyone. Tom was the “Rock” of the family. He had unconditional love for everyone, hardworking and family oriented.

Tom is survived by his son Tommy Dale Baker and wife Gladys of Cushing, daughter Dixie Lee Fox and husband Larry of Drumright, grandchildren Dusty Baker, Christina Funkhouser and husband Bobby, Micah Brandon and husband Josh, Christoher Baker, Marshal Baker and wife Sherry, Sierra Gaddy, Chandra Lewis and husband Josh, John Fox and wife, Kassel, great grandchildren Winter and Clark Griffith, Emily and John Eaton, Travis and Brittany Baker, Daniel Hood, Ashlee and John Moulder, Tiffanie Worthy, Tyler Barentine, Dylan Worthy, Kaylee Worthy- Brandon, Nick Barentine, Chance Gaddy, Alexander Lewis, Mason Baker, Sam Baker, Gracelynn Baker, Kailyn Baker, Addie Fox, Mia Fox, great great grandchildren Lane Eaton, Harlie Eaton, Laikyn Hood Leevi Moulder.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Mae Cramer Baker, mother Millie Blanche Haile Baker, father Harvey Lee Baker, sisters Anna Mae Elizabeth Baker and Carmen Lita Baker, grandson John Gaddy.
