Mildred “Midge” Burnley Jenkins passed away Friday morning, January 5, 2018 in the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, at the age of 87 years.

The daughter of the late John E. Dudley and Ethel M. Smith Dudley. Mildred was born on November 26, 1930 in Drumright, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in Drumright, graduating with the class of 1948.

Midge was united in marriage to Lloyd Burnley and to this union three children, Pam, Karla and Gina, were born. Lloyd preceded her in death in 1981. Midge was later married to Doyle Jenkins who preceded her in death in 2004.

Midge was employed with Spartan Mobile Home Manufacturer for a number of years before leaving to stay home and raise her children. Later going back to work and retiring from Tulsa Public School Office.

Midge enjoyed reading, crafts, traveling and cooking. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also loved spending time with her grandsons and spending time with her devoted companion of over 12 years, Joe Hendricks.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam Burnley, Karla Burnley and Gina Hoffman ; her companion Joe Hendricks; one brother Robert Dudley; two daughters-in-law, Twilla Shires and Laryssa Kachorowsky; one son-in-law Jerry Hoffman, two grandsons, Chase Burnett and Colton Burnett and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Midge was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Dudley.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harrell Cemetery with Pastor Sonny Johnston officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart research, or to Clarehouse Hospice, 7617 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74137.
