Cheryl Ann (Harvath) Ledbetter, longtime Cushing resident, passed from this life on Saturday, January 27, 2017 in Tulsa surrounded by family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2017 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Cheryl Ann (Harvath) Ledbetter was born on June 22, 1964 to Carl Lee and Mary Ann (Declark) Harvath in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Michigan and attended school at Warren Woods. She graduated from Warren Woods Tower High School in 1982. Cheryl realized at a young age, that she really enjoyed helping others. Her passion for helping others led her into nursing. She attended nursing school in Drumright, OK. She worked in the nursing field at local nursing homes and hospitals.

Cheryl married the love of her life, Steve Ledbetter on September 25, in Cushing, OK. United in marriage, they shared 5 children: Jennifer, Bryan, Jake, Brannon, and Eric. Cheryl loved to spend time with her children and watch them grow up. She was active in all of her children’s school and sporting activities. During the holiday seasons, Cheryl planned and hosted all the holiday gathers. When Cheryl became a grandmother, her heart was full. She loved to spoil and love on them as much as possible. Family meant the world to Cheryl.

In Cheryl’s free times, she enjoyed scrapbooking and ceramics. When the weather permitted, she would tend to her gardens.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Steve Ledbetter; five children: Jennifer Ward and husband, Shane, Bryan Ward and wife, Crystal, Jake Ledbetter and wife, Lindsay, Brannon Ledbetter and wife, Tiffany, and Eric Ledbetter; her father, Carl Lee Harvath; four siblings: Jeff Harvath and wife, Tracy, Ken Harvath, Larry Harvath, Cindy Lee and husband, Kevin; eight grandchildren: Zack, Kaylee, Hagen, Brecken, Caden, Corbin, Max, and Oliver. Cheryl is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother.
