Jimmy Lee Montgomery, age 76 of Agra, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home in Agra. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Agra Senior Citizens Center. A luncheon will follow the memorial service.

Jimmy was born on May 27, 1941 in Sayre, Oklahoma to the late Joe and Opal (Elliott) Montgomery. Jimmy was one of eight siblings. He grew up in Visalia, Ca, then moved to Oklahoma where he attended school. He was active in 4-H Club in high school, graduating then later attended College in Oklahoma City. After school, Jimmy joined the military and served during the Vietnam War in the ground forces. Jimmy was a VFW member in Fresno, California and in American Legion member in Cushing. Jimmy worked as a manager for JC Penney for many years in Oklahoma City then transferring to Hawaii. He later partnered with a friend on a freight business in Honolulu. Jimmy was a strong believer in God. He also enjoyed cheering on the OSU Cowboys in all sports.

Jimmy is survived by his only daughter Jill N. Patterson and husband Ryan of Anaheim, Ca., one brother George Montgomery.

Grandchildren Camden and Annika.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers and two sisters.
