Motorists Still Find the Cheapest Easter Price for Gasoline Since 2004

Today, the national average price for a gallon of gasoline tipped over $2 for the first time in 2016 to $2.01 per gallon. Oklahoma’s average price is $1.87 today, 37 cents above the price one month ago. Although pump prices are inching upward ahead of the convergence of holy days and holidays, consumers will pay the cheapest price for gasoline at Easter in a dozen years, according to AAA Oklahoma.

Stillwater City Council to Address Proposed Oil and Gas Ordinance at July 6th Meeting

Stillwater City Council will address the proposed Stillwater Oil and Gas Ordinance (Ordinance No. 3310) at its July 6, 2015 meeting.  If the Council votes to advance the ordinance to second reading at this meeting, per Section 2-13 of the Stillwater City Charter, it will be read and considered again at the next regularly-scheduled City Council meeting, July 20, 2015.
